Today honestly i was impressed by the happenings in parliament. Am sure quite a number would be looking at it as a disgrace, embarrassment, childish or one of the many demeaning words which could be used to describe the chaos. People differ in opinions and these have to be listened to, there is oppression by majority too and that is why minority voices need to be heard. Jubilee is hell bent to misuse their numbers in the house, what alternative does minority have besides what they did today. By using their numbers to pass the bill, the discord will spill into the streets and i wonder what security will the bill achieve once that happens or the right to use this bill against its own citizens which they swore to serve and protect. Kudos to opposition you did your best in the house, for once we can say you have tried to represent the minority views. The choice has been on the majority, Jubilee to have the voice of reason to listen to your views. Question is to the President H.E. Uhuru after the chaotic debate will he have the voice of reason and send the bill back to parliament for a decorum debate or the tyranny of numbers will even be stronger than the embarrassment the debate would have caused the GOK. For sure the speaker lost it today, he did not have control of the house and as a result there was no debate.
