Today, if you’re a mom, you may get a drawing from your child. Or maybe youre planning to take your mother out to lunch. But some folks who want to spend time with their mothers today cannot. Asylum-seekers in the U.S. are often separated from their loved ones. Organizations like ours cannot reunite families, but we can take care of the people who have made it here. Here at ASTT, we do our best to alleviate our clients’ suffering and help them regain power over their own lives. In honor of Mother’s Day, help us serve them. Help us serve people who have fled their own countries, suffered unimaginable trauma, and, often, had to leave their loved ones behind.
