Today in Cortez. ~ The Cortez Cultural Center’s annual Sweetheart Ball fundraiser will be held today at the Cortez Elks. This year’s theme is “Abracadabra Sweetheart Ball” featuring dinner, auction, magic entertainment and dancing. For more information call 565-1151. ~ Cortez Special Olympics will be hosting their second annual Music Festival tonight at Blondies at 7 p.m. Three bands will be playing: They Guys, Beach Street Blues Band, and Redneck Symphony.
