Today in the Jewish calendar is the 17th of Tammuz, which is the beginning of the mourning period known as The Three Weeks. It culminates on the 9th of Av, commemorating the conquest of Jerusalem, the destruction of the Holy Temple and the dispersion of the Jewish people. Many people fast today and spend time in communal prayer and personal introspection. With all that is happening in Israel and around the world to our fellow Jewish brothers and sister, each of us should take time today to do one new Mitzvah and reach out to someone....Together, we CAN bring the Final Redemption, Messiah and PEACE.
