MINI BIBLE STUDY FOR THE DAY Schools today are openly downplaying the importance of history. But God wants us to remember the past so we dont make the same mistakes again and again. The often-repeated phrase History repeats itself originally came from Ecclesiastes 1:9: That which has been is that which will be, and that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun. By looking back, we make better decisions for the future. . . . As for the former events, declare what they were, that we may consider them and know their outcome. —Isaiah 41:22 And, of course, without history, how would we tell of all Thy wonders?
