Today is Debra Smiths birthday. She is a wonderful help to the Sanctuary, a fabulous and devoted Board Member, a tireless supporter of what we do here and the co-founder of Calico TNR. Her work to help stop the suffering of so many kittens being born to feral and loosely owned cats is so important. She is talented and caring and a wonderful friend. She is also hard headed and refused to allow me to plan any kind of birthday celebration for her, even dinner out, so I would have an excuse to go LOL. So once again for those of you who have not visited her face book page and LIKED the work she does as Calico TNR please take a minute and do so. The best present and thank you we could give her is to get the word out on Spaying and Neutering the cats that have no one to care for them. To help them in their struggle to live in their natural environment, and to educate more folks on the need to leave them where they are and provide food and shelter to ease their condition.
