Today is Friday + Eid; I guess the best day for Muslims to celebrate. 2 things I noticed today morning on the roads while I went out for walk. 1. Muslim men and children wearing new dresses and going out to Madarssa I believe. However I could not understand why Muslim women did not accompany their families along to the Madarssa. 2. Police all around the roads; they expect communal violence in the city during the festival celebration. This really is a sad truth that people cant even celebrate their festival peacefully without fear. Let me wish a Happy Eid. I remember as a kid I would go with my family to Muslim families on this day and we would enjoy their sewayias. There is definitely something special about the Eid sewayias :-)
