Today is #GivingTuesday--a day specifically set aside to reset and reevaluate after our national shopping holidays to think instead about what we can do for others. Instead of spending money on things, its a time to donate money to charities or spend time helping those around you. redditgifts was based on the idea that giving to others spreads happiness--both for the giver and the receiver--and we encourage you to take this day to give back. One of our participants this year is Bill Gates, who is the perfect example of constantly giving , and he is also a big advocate for Giving Tuesday. And today, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is matching every dollar donated to Shot@Life help protect a child from pneumonia, diarrhea, polio, and measles.
