Today is Sunday and we close at 3 p.m. Today weve got a lot going on. Of course we have chicken and dumplings as we always do on Sundays. We also are selling our famous fried chicken dinner at the special price of $8.99 with 2 sides. Our soup today is vegetable and the vegetable of the day is stewed okra and tomatoes and we also have hash brown casserole. To honor Capt. Herb Emory we are doing a 4 veggie lunch plate for $8.75. He sure did love his vegetables! We also have a Masters Special (since Dwight grew up in Augusta) which consists of a Green Jacket salad and your choice of a grilled pimento cheese (homemade of course) or pimento cheese croissant. For dessert we have a peanut butter banana cream pie with toasted marshmallow meringue. Come and get it while it lasts!
