Today is World AIDS Day. For me, I celebrate survival and endurance for myself over the past 28 years since my diagnosis, when I was told I would be dead in less than two years. I also share the triumph with my peers who accompany me along this journey. Today is also a day of loving remembrance of those who we have lost on this journey. I AM NOT A RED RIBBON! I AM NOT A VICTIM! I AM A MAN! I AM A SURVIVOR!
