Today is World Wildlife Conservation Day! Wildlife Conservation is an issue close to our hearts at Bolton Abbey. Were always working towards a greener estate so that our vast grounds can continue being home to hundreds of species of animals. On the river running through Strid Wood, you can see and hear the songs of the pied flycatcher, wood warbler and goosander, amongst others. Bolton Abbey is also home to hundreds of proud sheep and cows... and lets not forget the humble but wonderful duck!
