Today is a day of Remembrance. We will NEVER forger 09-11-2001! Having just returned from Washington DC for the Honor Flight of West Central Florida I cannot express my words of gratitude for being part of this Wonderful and Amazing organization. The picture to the left is truly Historic. The Pentagon, seen here is where the plane entered the building, note the lighter colored paint. You can also see Arlington Crematory, The Washington Monument, The State Capitol and The Lincoln Memorial. The other picture is the reason why we/I took the trip. It is a picture of ALL the Veterans who served and protected our GREAT COUNTRY back in WWII. They gave of themselves freely and truly faced evil head-on. It is because of there bravery and efforts that we are the GREATEST NATION still today. This was my 1st trip, and God willing it was NOT my last. I feel have found another calling working with these Veterans and I pray I am able to continue on this journey to be a volunteer moving forward. It was an Honor and a Privilege to meet these men and women and to hear their stories of bravery. THANK YOU to those who run this AMAZING organization and to all the Volunteers who keep things running so smoothly and making it look so easy. Also to ALL who donate in the form of cash or supplies to make it all happen!!!! God Bless You All and God Bless This Great Country!!!
