Today is a good day indeed for not only the USA, but the world. Not only did everyone that ran the Boston Marathon today have a good day, but American Meb Kefleghi became the first man to win the race since 1983. The streak of African dominance has ended. I am so happy. Red Sox fans can rejoice for now, there is a new champ to take the mantle away from the Yankees of the running community. More importantly, Boston and the world stood up against the hatred by coming together in harmony to run and stand up against the hatred that threatened to tear us apart 1 year ago. This is how people should come together like 9/11. Nothing will ever defeat us. United we stand, divided we fall. Boston is strong with the rest of the world. The NBA and NHL Playoffs may be in action, but as runners, the boston Marathon is everyones championship. At least today it was.
