Today is a great anniversary for a pivotal part of our history as western civilization. People we know and care for have lived behind such an oppressive and inhumane barrier that has ruined so many lives. I was peace that brought this Wall down with the demonstrations in Leipzig and movements fueled and organized literally within the confines of the Lutheran church. Unity continues to grow even 25 years later. The finite life of the Wall shows the true vitality of the German spirit which will never be divided and will prosper and grow for many years to come.
