Today is a historic day for REAL motoring Enthusiasts around the country, whether we like the way things have developed over the last 9 months, or not. However, it also shows the complete lack of competency and confidence of the current leadership team and their complete lack of ability to focus on anything other than their own personal agendas. This is reminiscent of the days following the elections and the formal announcement to the AMEPs win in the Senate election. Same then as today, we were very vocal in telling them to share and publicise the event with the members and the greater public, but they had better ideas in mind. Do Nothing. Again today, as Ricky takes his seat and for the first time there is representation of our culture and life style (even if its just in name), we see and hear nothing. I know that this page is being monitored so I hope at least THEY will take the advise and do celebrate the official appointment of the Motoring Enthusiast Senator with the members... Ricky, AMEP Leadership, Keith, Glenn if you guys needs some pointers in how to best conduct your ADVISER roles, feel free to contact me, because things do not seem to be going very well at all.
