Today is a very big day. Rehearsals for the National Tour of Elf start. Ive been working on the show for the past month and a half and today it becomes real. Maybe not as real for when I go to North Dakota, but very real. Today the real work, and the real stress, starts. But I get to work with the wonderful CaitLin Booth for the first time in 5 years. So excited! Its also my Daddys birthday. He doesnt have facebook, so I cant tag him, but he wouldnt want me to anyway. I have the greatest pride when my friends tell me how much they love my Dad. I know how awesome he is, but when others see it, it gives me a lot of joy. He and I dont always agree, but I know he always has my back and supports me no matter what. Thats a pretty awesome feeling. So if you see my Dad today, tell him hes got a daughter that thinks hes the best man in the world. Rumor also has it that the guy I call my boyfriend is back in the city after being gone for 4 weeks (fine, 3 1/2). Im super proud of everything hes done for the Sister Act Tour, but damn am I happy Jeremy Lane is back. Ok Im already exhausted from this day.
