Today is also Dominics birthday, celebrating in heaven. I can just see him now, in his favorite tux and that beautiful broad smile, sparkling eyes, cigar in hand enjoying everything around him. Laughing, joking, singing and dancing. I never knew how well liked and respected he was by people from all walks of life, but I found that out at his funeral when the Mayor of NY, Donald Trump and many other big wigs attended. I was blown away, he never dropped names like some men do to impress. He was respected not by using intimidation tactics like some, but by being generally nice, open. Dom was going to law school when his dads construction business began failing and being the way he was, he spent just as much time at the construction company as he did in law school and managed to get his degree and help his dad save the business. Dominic knew how his father loved his business and then poured himself into learning about demolition and turned the small construction company into a construction/demolition company with offices in 5 states. Now his children run the company as efficiently as their dad and grandfather did. He gave up his dream of being a criminal defense attorney for his dads dream and he never regretted it. He put Jessica through law school and helped the rest of his cousins and friends open businesses. He helped many people live their dream and I was lucky enough to be his wife, even though it was only a few years and not enough time together, he was my greatest joy. Happy Birthday Ill Duce, you are so very missed, every second of every day.
