Today is my fathers 82nd birthday. It is also my mothers 21st death anniversary. Even in death my mother is united with my dad. I have been blessed with their love, which I oftentimes paid back with headaches (and oftentimes is an understatement believe me) and while I did not have the pleasure of seeing them grow old together I find solace in the thought that there is always a Reason for why things unfold as they do. Happy birthday Daddy. We - GJ, RV and I plus Diana and Joanna - love you. And thank you Mama for the gift of life and of love. You remain alive in us.
