Today is my moms birthday. A great family friend asked me how old she is today. I said I dont know, im not good at remembering dates and ages, etc, I have to think to know my own age most times. But I do know that for the last 35 1/2 years my mom has taken care of me, taught me to be strong and independent. She has shown me that the best things in life are right here, where family and friends gather. I hope I am half the mom my mother has been to me.
