Today is not my day... Started arguing first thing in the morning, drove 40 minutes to work sleepy in traffic, had a tough catchup day of work because I missed yesterday, along with tons of personal client work I need to get to. Then I got a call to find out a extremely important package I had overnight shipped from Florida didnt arrive and is being resent home, on top of that it was my fault so I might have to get recharged another $45 dollars to get it shipped back. Then got on another call saying that the place Ive been trying to rent was going to be rented to a previous tenant of the place, so now Im back to being Homeless. Left to work late so I was stuck in rush hour traffic heading to DTLA, had to pay $15 for close parking to make sure I didnt miss a friends performance. Then my phone died while Im leaving trying to get an address to pick up house keys. So I walked to my car to try and charge it, the cable split and broke, so spent an hour trying to fix my cable and charge my phone, ended up walking 2 blocks to purchase a charger from 7 - 11 that didnt sell any, so I walked 3 more huge blocks to rite aid, then Walgreens and walked back about an hour later to find that my phone doesnt work with that charger… Spent another half hour trying to charge it again (after it turned on twice and then died instantly). Tried to get wifi from my computer to get in contact, while figuring a way out of Downtown. I then remembered I had an old Garmin Nuvi GPS to find my way out of DTLA… But it couldnt even pick up a satellite signal…SO…. I figured my way back out of DTLA, memorized my way back home through rush hour, only to be locked out of the place Im staying, luckily someone came through the front gate and someone was home to let me in. After all that… The only thing I can say is… Is that all you got? Because its going to take a helluva lot more then these past few months and all of today to bring me to my knees. So bring it on, and be prepared, because Im just gearing up to swing back. On a more positive note. I was able to watch Maya Sienna perform today, and so many others around me are seeing amazing positive events happen in their lives as well. I couldnt be happier for them! Keep pushing forward my friends, there are only great things ahead.
