Today is such a special day, I was trying to compose one of my many thoughts into a heartfelt poem to celebrate the love and life of my Mom. Believe it or not, the words just would not come. What do you say about the woman that was taken from you too soon in life. I only got to know her for 14 short years. From those short years I remember the most remarkable person. Happy, loving, giving, funny a mom that put her kids before anything, everything and anyone. I wish that my kids could have known you Mom, you would be so proud of them. I pray that you are proud of me too, and the person I have become. I know im not perfect, I let my pride and stubbornness get the best of me most of the time, I promise ill keep working on that. By the way I still cant eat red Jello without laughing, you know what im talking about...hahaha. Love you Mom and have a slice of Birthday cake for me, and if ya can, give Dad, Grandma C, Grandma D, Grandpa D, Uncle Ken, Aunt Pat, Uncle Glen and everyone else up there a great big hug and kiss. Give Shelbie a good tummy rub and tell her that her mommy misses her so much. See you all, (but not too soon) I got more living to do. Love your Daughter. Shelley. xoxo
