Today is the anniverary of what is referd to as the darkest day in any sports history, the hillsbourgh disaster. 25 years ago not only did 96 innocent people die, but 96 innocent liverpool fans died . 25 years ago today it was the FA cup final between liverpool and notingham forest. All liverpool fans where given a little part of the hillsbourgh stadium called lepings lane. This place was already over- crowded, little did the spectators know that it would get even more crowded, due to there being roadworks aboit 20m from the stadium more liverpool fans turned up late, the doors were already closed. So these die hard fans started banging on the door trying to get in. The security were afraid that these people would get hurt, they let them into leping lane. Now lepings lane was all ready over crowded with lfc supporters legins lane would soon begin to hold a wait that was to much and collapse killing 96 people and leaving many more critically injured in a human/ concrete crush. After hearing this story i was deeply sadend. Many famous sportsman have payed their respects to the fallen 96 (wayne rooney, cristiano ronaldo, xabi alsono, steven gerrard) R.I.P #JFT96
