Today is the day my daughter may have been tugging at my car keys saying hey mum im seventeen take me out for a lesson why dont you?! Today is the day my daughter may have been looking at me eye to eye - or down on me as she towered above... Today is the day she may have rummaged through my wardrobe and walked out wearing my fave dress and heels - and they would have fitted (if I was trendy enough by her standards that is ) to go on a sophisticated birthday celebration that I probably wouldnt have been invited to! Today is still her birthday, she is still my daughter, no matter how old she might have been, or how many years go past since she was on the earth plane in body with me. Today I have whizzed round in a spin of endless tasks but she has been so incredibly in my mind and heart. I have yearned to spend just five minutes in meditative connection with her since silly o clock this morning.. Jumping in my car this morning I take one look at it and think that no-one would be able to tell its supposed to be white, but there is no way I can spare time to clean it - as usual, but especially today if it comes to a choice of clean my car or give way my five minutes connection with Lauren... I roll my eyes at how it seems to be one of those days where time to stay on top of normal daily things just doesnt happen, and I feel like a failure for having a car that needs washing! On the M25 I pass a van, that is supposed to be white but is also caked in soot, and in the soot is written I LOVE YOU not once, not twice, but all over the van.... Lauren, I love you too
