Today is the last Market day of the 2014 season, and its a bittersweet day for us. Were sad to see it end, but weve had a fantastic time helping to bring a wide variety of fresh and local goodness to you each week. We are filled with gratitude for all of our sponsors, growers, artisans, volunteers, and most of all, YOU, our loyal customers. Who knew that in just three short years, our Market would grow to become the largest in the Middle Tennessee area?! Its due to the hard work and dedication of all involved and to you for your support of our little venture. The Hip Donelson Community Farmers Market has become THE Friday afternoon/evening destination for so many. Weve loved seeing your smiling faces each week. Weve loved meeting your furbabies. Weve loved that you have been patient with us while we were working out the kinks after moving to a new location and more than doubling the size of the Market. Weve loved that you come out and support the awesome entertainment that weve had each week (thank you, Jeff Syracuse!). Were looking forward to taking a little break until next spring, but were also wondering what the heck were going to do with ourselves on Friday evenings until then! In the meantime, we have one more Market, AND its Halloween, so help us go out with a bang! Come in costume, and bring the little ones for tent or treat. And, you know, Christmas is coming, so why not do a little early holiday shopping with us? We know our out-of-town friends and families love it when we give them local Tennessee-made products. Jake Hill will be entertaining us from 5 to 7. Its going to be a little on the chilly side, so dress warm, and if you park off-site, take advantage of our HEATED shuttle bus that will run continuously between the Music City Star and Donelson Plaza parking lots and the Market. We look forward to seeing you there!
