Today is the last day to see Professoriate exhibit at ArtSpace/Lima, including the student exhibit in the ArtZone Gallery. Ohio Northern sophomore Rebecca Carmen, graphic design major from Bellefontaine, Ohio, is one of several students from Northwest Ohio whose work is on display through 2p.m. There are also several Ohio Northern alumni featured in the Ellen Nelson Gallery, including Ed Corle (BFA ’78) and Laura Barnhardt Corle (BFA ’77). Ed is an associate professor of art at The University of Findlay where he teaches ceramics, sculpture and three-dimensional design. Laura is a graduate student at Bowling Green State University where she teaches painting. “Northwest Ohio is rich in university resources. The I-75 corridor and its environs are home to a large number of those resources. And ArtSpace is pleased to gather together 17 faculty members from their respective departments of art for an exhibit which showcases their latest work. As well, upstairs in ArtZone, we have put together a representative sample of works by their current and recent students.
