Today is the two-year anniversary of my last day at PMA . Been an interesting 24 months, and I am grateful for many things. First and foremost, my family who has endured much uncertainty as I have attempted to cobble together a career. Their support has been tremendous and I cant thank them enough. I am also grateful for the many photo-industry peeps who stepped up with support and opportunities, including Fred Lerner, Peter Tahmin, Steve Giordano Jr., Timothy Hufker, Georgia L. McCabe, Mike Wodushek, Vahe Christianian, the gang at Picture This...Jackson, Manny Almeida, Bill McCurry, Maryellen Oswald, Bill Fitz-Patrick, Michael Rubin, Reiner Fageth, Audrey Jonckheer, Brian Mundy and many more. I also appreciate the friendship of many more photo-industry press, analysts and PR people, who still treat me like one of the gang, like Ron Leach, Dan Havlik, Philip Ryan, David Etchells, Steve Rosenbaum, Colleen Krenzer, Laura Heller, Matt OKeefe and the InfoTrends crew, Scott Heath, Lou Desiderio and many more. And I cant forget some of the PMA ex-pats who Ive kept in touch with, including Tom Crawford, Amy McGibbon-Lang, and Chad Munce. Ive also had the opportunity to meet some cool new people, who I may not have encountered while in the PMA sphere, like Julie Morris OBoyle (and Ed) and Darren Johnson. If I left anyone out, accept my apologies. I am in desperate need of beer. It has also been (somewhat) gratifying to see PMA continue with some of the programs and ideas left behind. The association is good hands with troopers like Jennifer Barr Kruger, Jennifer Steffey, Melissa Smith Aldrich, Yvonne Philpott, Jeff Frazine, Suzi Brigham Barger, Nick Shaver and Elaine Truman still plugging away. Looking forward to whats ahead.
