Today many of my dear friends and former colleagues are preparing for their students to come back to school. Teachers I hope you are filled with excitement and encouragement as this new school year approaches. No matter what state legislation looks like I hope you can walk in to your classroom this year with a head held high. Your students are lucky to have you....and you are lucky to have them. When the days get hard, and discipline is tough, remember that you are making a difference that cant be spoiled. I miss this opportunity every day and cherish the time I had teaching my beloved students and teaching alongside amazing individuals. Way to go teachers!
