Today marked both the one-year anniversary of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce and the addition of its 100th member – MillerCoors. I’m thrilled to congratulate the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Milwaukee’s own MillerCoors on reaching a momentous milestone today. Now numbering 100 businesses strong, this marks a year of growth and success for the Chamber, which has been a beacon of progress across Wisconsin. Their success illustrates their steadfast commitment to show that Wisconsin employers and businesses are committed to creating an inclusive state for the LGBT community to live and work. The addition of MillerCoors to the Chamber further solidifies the company’s commitment to equality in the workplace. By taking this step forward, MillerCoors is signaling to our community that, like a growing number of businesses, it will continue to promote the shared Wisconsin values of diversity, equality and fairness. Again, congratulations to the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce and its member businesses for being direct contributors to statewide progress.
