Today marks an anniversary, of sorts. By date, it is the one year anniversary of my husband, Jason, and Is first SCA event - Hawkwoods dinner night out. A small ease in, but still. But, more than that, it marks the beginning of a turning point in our lives. A point where things changed - very much for the better. The friendship, encouragement, and... well, I guess theres not really a word for what weve gained from the SCA except just one. Family. Waking up this morning from our first real day home from WoW was a sad one. Now I truly know what people say when they talk about missing it and looking forward to going back home next year.
