Today marks the end of another modern synthpop era: Aidan Casserly announced that the band Empire State Human is coming to an end. They started in 1999, and have released 20+ albums in their existence. While Aidan himself is continuing music, with his Qubo and Glass Dancer projects, and with collaborations with other artists like myself, ESH for me defines his music. Here is a video of their signature track, Hand on the Gun, from the debut Pop Robot album, here performed live at Retrofest 2008 in Scotland.
