Today marks the second anniversary of Emilys life-changing, very nearly life-ending accident. What a world away we are today from then! Shes still struggling with some memory and focus problems, and almost certainly always will, but shes come so much further than even imagined. In wonderful timing, she will walk back into a college classroom on Tuesday for the first time. :). Shes taking one class, which should bring to light how her limitations will affect learning and what we must do to compensate. Shes very, very excited about it (she doesnt feel like shes been doing anything with my life for the past two years!!). We are so incredibly grateful to our gracious Creator, who has healed her beyond most medical explanation, to all of the absolutely wonderful and talented medical professionals weve worked with along this journey so far, and to all of you who have supported us in countless ways, beginning with storming the gates of Heaven with prayers beseeching on Emilys behalf. What a fabulous milestone weve reached!
