Today, my grandmother whom Im extremely close to had a massive stroke, her second one, the first was pretty mild. My 2 cousins, 1 who was here from Connecticut and on her way back there, went over for coffee and toast with butter and jelly, a very old tradition for mornings at grandpas. They realized she was off and not herself and then witnessed her have the stroke at the table. Apparently, depending on the patient, there is a drug that if administered during a specific time frame, can reverse the effects of the stroke& allow the blood to flow freely thru the artery that was blocked. 14% of patients it works on.... IT WORKED. The doctor was amazed and pleased and of course I am ever so grateful for my 2 cousins who decided to go over for reminiscing and toast❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️we believe Zack may have had his hands on her today
