Today of thanks: Veterans day: Thank you hugely to all of the men and women who have laid their lives down for all of us to live in the country of the free and the brave! I personally know so many of you who have served this country and when you serve, your family serves also, they are left behind here at home to raise families and keep the home front going and still praying and thinking of you while your gone. From the first soldier ever to the ones still being the first ones to respond to make sure we are safe in America! I am such a sap when it comes to those serving. I was in the mall and two young men in uniform were walking ahead a bit. I quickly caught up and just told these two young men, thank you for what you do. No they didnt think it was some crack pot old lady being weird. They were humbled and I could see in their eyes that they were thankful we care for them. And appreciate them. Many of my family and the friends I know. Thank you! And the ones I dont know. Thank you. I do get tears when our national anthem is sung. I am proud to be an American. Even if I dont agree with where our leaders have taken us thus far. There are still those who chose to continue serving this country.
