Today on Fresh Air with Terry Gross: Historian Jill Lepore is the author of the new book The Secret History of Wonder Woman which is about the creator of the Wonder Woman comic book character, William Moulton Marston, a feminist, psychologist, inventor of the lie detector, and a secret polygamist. And he was also into bondage. Lepore is a professor of American History at Harvard University, and is also a staff writer at The New Yorker.
