Today on my route I noticed a Hispanic father with his 2 daughters hanging an American flag on their house. As I got closer one of the little girls was so excited and said See our new flag? I nodded and told her It was beautiful. I have no idea what their immigration status is or was, but it made me think, remember when you first bought or rented that new house? How new and at home it made you feel? I can only imagine thats what that family was feeling and they found the greatest banner on the earth to hang on the outside of it. Step away from CNN, close your browser and dont believe everything both parties tell you is wrong with the country, and just look around. We are still the country that will take your poor and hungry masses, and thats what its all about. That Hispanic gentleman is no different than me. He wants wants best for his children and a chance at the American dream. Well said by a co worker.
