Today, on the 25th anniversary of the Tianenmen Square protests, Secretary of State John Kerry tweeted: Will never forget seeing column of tanks halted by 1 man armed only with his conscience. This is the same politician (and I use that word pejoratively) who has recently been attacking Edward Snowden—one man, armed with his conscience, standing up to the digital, 21st century version of a column of tanks. Washington, D.C. is defined by nothing if not flagrant and frequent hypocrisy.
