Today our CJ would be 11 months old. This is the time of year that we wouldve been stressing not only over his First Christmas but his First Birthday as well! Last year around this time the future held so many promises for us. Our baby was due in 6 weeks... And all we could think about was next year when he would be here! CJ had other plans and made his debut 3 weeks early. The stress that the holidays (with the added in first birthday) bring we dont get to have with him. All we wanted was to see the excitement of seeing his face at a lit up tree. The presents that he would need help opening. The pictures and outfits. Cards with his beautiful little face plastered all over it. We never expected him to not be here. We never in a million years thought that we would never see the joy and excitement that Christmas morning held in our sons eyes. We never thought that instead of picking what balloons, cake and characters to have for his birthday we would be standing at his grave yearning to have him back. To hold him just one more time. We can only imagine and wish for what everyone takes for granted. We ask of everyone this season that for every present you wrap and party you attend think of all the people that dont have that or the ones that are struggling. Pray for them. For CJ we ask that you simply do a good deed.. Hold a door, buy a coffee for the person behind you, just a simple smile sometimes goes a long way. If someone does something nice for you pay it forward--- in honor of CJ. Remember for each smile you bring to someone that is CJ smiling at you too. These good deeds are our gift to him. And those smiles are his gift to us. We love you baby boy!! Xoxoxox
