Today our Sea Cruse took us into the port of St. Topaz France where we were invited to dine at the captains table. The tables was decorated with peacock feathers and candles and at each setting was a charger, a goblet and silverware. Diners were given the choice between beef medallions wrapped in bacon or batter fried cod. These were served with a salad, a medley of rainbow mashed potatoes (Purple, gold, white and red potatoes were used) and for dessert a treasure cupcake with a sweet chocolate surprise in the center. Just as we settled down to enjoy our splendid meal there was a huge commotions as Pirates boarded our ship! They attempted to recruit new members to be pirates but I refused saying I would rather be a sea slug. Mutiny was in the atmosphere as challenges to the Sea Pirate Captain were made. Swords were drawn and fighting commenced to the delight of all. Order was restored and the Pirates were kicked out but as they left one took my hand and kissed it saying, Fear not we shall return! and they departed into the night.
