Today our prayers are for all those people who are caring for the elderly, sometimes the carers themselves are elderly too and they themselves would love to have someone to look after them! Dear God look after all the carers who look after elderly people and comfort them from their physical and mental pain. These carers make the life of these people so much more respectful. Dear God help these carers, assist them in their good deeds and give them strength to carry out their duties with care and compassion. Help them in their daily tasks which are not easy and require patience and tolerance. Dear Lord look after our elderly who are the guardians of our traditions and memories. And as they age and become fragile let there be kind carers who would build supportive relationships with them. Dear God let these carers appreciate the wisdom of their elderly and the richness of their experience. Send your angels to keep the elderly safe and bless the families of the elderly and grant us ALL the patience to care for those who once cared for us . In Jesus name Amen
