Today starts the month in which I remember the most wonderful, influential, kindhearted, beautiful woman I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She helped a scared little girl heal some wounds and to become a person that I could love and respect. She helped me to see that not all people are bad, and that not all mothers will not protect their daughters. She was my best friend, my confidant, my heart, my mother! She will always be in my heart and soul and those that knew or met her know how she was. She loved her three sons Doug (she lost in Vietnam), Mike (lost in a car wreck), and her youngest who is still alive, John. She loved and talked about her grandchildren constantly. She lost her grandson, Dustin Weber, just a few short weeks before her own death. We, who were really close to her believe she past from a broken heart, she had simply lost too many precious people in her life and her heart just gave up. She left behind people that will mourn her for a long time, but, she left behind a story, one that will be heard from the end of time, if I have anything to do about it!! People, these are the people we need to here about every day, instead of these stupid celebrities! They do it for fame and attention, she and many others do it because they have a heart, and actually care. So please, for me, retell this story today, hold or call your mother today, be thankful that you still have her to hold or talk to, light a candle or release some balloons for your own momma in heaven. Always cherish your momma even if she isnt your blood.
