Today, the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki remarked that ‘we now know that VA has a systemic, totally unacceptable lack of integrity within some of our Veterans Health Administration facilities.’ He went on to assert, ‘I will not defend it because it is indefensible. But I can take responsibility for it, and I do.’ Thank you, Secretary Shinseki, for being a man of your word and for serving the country you love so honorably and admirably.
