Today the museum had two visitors from Mississippi doing family genealogy on the Savory Adams family. This Quaker family, originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, came to live in Waynesville about 1812. What a needle in a hay stack this search turned out to be but since the ladies are here for two more weeks, well be back into the books next week. So glad they came to visit. They also enjoyed the friendly staff at the Mary L. Cook Library, who were a great help as well. Its what we love to do.
