Today, two of my kiddos were helping me put together our classroom calendar when Luca started kicking and rolling. Out of Mommy habit, I rubbed my belly in that strange way that Mamas do to comfort their moving munchkins. The boys both looked at Luca and asked if he was kicking. (They all love putting their hands on my belly and pretending to feel him move.) I told them how Luca was moving all around because he must be loving all their funny stories that they were telling! Immediately they put their hands right on the bump like a magnet to feel him kick. All of a sudden Luca gave them the biggest karate kick that Ive ever felt. The boys faces were in absolute shock as they yelled that Luca kicked them and then jumped up and down in excitement. It was so special, incredibly sweet, funny, and a memory Ill always cherish. They thought it was the absolute coolest thing and couldnt stop bragging about how they felt Luca kick!
