Today was a big day for 33 year old Tamara Breeden. You may remember images of the makeshift dungeon she & 3 other mentally disabled victims were held captive in back in October 2011 in the subbasement of a Tacony Apartment. She told a jury yesterday that her captives beat & starved her and forced her to drink her own urine for more than 10 years. Well today, that jury awarded her $45 million in compensatory & punitive damages. It seems the jury sent a strong message to her alleged captors and anyone who would abuse people in such a manner. But we’ll she actually see any of that money. The story tonight on Action News @ 10 & 11.
