Today was a busy one for me but though out the day while teaching I lingered upon songs I have come to associate Mark Murphy with. An early version of Young And Foolish (at a kickass tempo), God Bless The Child (an amazing B&W video), ANYTHING Brazilian, Stolen Moments, Swinging On A Star, Bein Green (no offense to Kermit), Red Clay. Where do I stop? A huge impression and influence, I will forever be honored that Mark recorded my lyric to Boplicity (Bebop Lives). He knows how much I love him and I honor him in celebration of his Birthday. Thank you Mark.
