Today was a long one! Drained, and emptied the fish tanks to move it to my sisters, to discover my large(r) Chinese algae eater was missing. No signs of a dead fish in the tank. Odd. Get the tank set up with only the loss of one baby guppy in transport. Picked the kids up from moms, and told the kids we were going to go to Toy R Us to each pick a new toy, after we went to Walmart to buy them sandals, ended in the 4 of us walking out with the two kids both in full blown melt downs. After a long talk in the car, we agreed to go to Payless shoes and buy sandals, and IF they were good, with no more crying, they could get new toys. Lexi was excellent, and picked a good pair of sandals, and I picked the same ones in blue for Joe. Toys R Us was great. Lexi got a large plush Twilight Sparkle, though was really torn between Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. Joey saw and fell in love with a Mario Bros poster which has all the character names on it. They had none left in stock. God bless the staff, who let us have the display poster, and made a little boy very content the rest of the day.
