Today was a solemn day, even for our girl who was uncharacteristically blue after the loss of her Grumps last night... While its devastating to imagine Dalia growing up in a world where Dale is unavailable to provide consultation, advice, or simply to call it like it is; its becoming more and more apparent that Dale has been a valued mentor and helped guide so many of us through life, that his presence strongly remains through everything that he has imparted onto all of us who have been fortunate enough to know and love him. My point is, that Dale has been sharing his wealth of humor, knowledge, philosophy, and insight with so many and I hope that Dalia (and any future Fryelets) will get the chance to know him through all of you and the relationships that he valued above all else.
