Today was a very good seminar in Kuopio. All the students were training very good and giving all their effort in the drills. We went throught the basic punch, basic positions, triangle, bong and tan sao gerk. 3 and 4 degree we train the understanding of the bong sao and back fist, and taking the punch to move to the sides punch. We train too...the falling step controlling the hook...together with the shoulder control for the punch to the ribs. from 6 to 10 degree...we trained the 1st section for undersanding the forward pression...in every movement...and how we can go over the movements that has not pression...we call it...flowering movements...making nice and good looking movement but not realistic at all in normal street fight. 11 degree we work the chi gerk moving to the sides..drills coming from the 7 and 8 section of the wooden dummy...and then...aplications being agresive with our chi gerk or just absorb and move on. For the 2nd tech...we wokr the 6th section....understanding the movements...the openings for example of the shoulder to make a fak sao, hitting in the movement of the arm...first with the elbow and continuing with the hand....absorbing the power of the oponent...with the elbow and recover for the atacking...or make a fak sao...thought the arm of the oponent...answering with a bong and fak so... In general...good atmosphtere...good willing to train hard...and this is what I like. Very good seminar...and I hope to see you soon in the next seminar. Pictures will come very soon too.
