Today was an exasperating day. Any little thing that could go wrong did, and was frustrating! My mama got a new little dog; we went to Dollar General (the one that got robbed the other nite). She got a big sack of dog food and 3 other items (Manwich, stackers chips, soft packets of dog food). I wrote out her check, as she would get dizzy looking down.A man was behind us and he stole our bag of stuff! She had forgotten to get the bag. I had already taken the big sack of dog food to the car. So, we waited around, and at least got to get the stolen items back w/o paying. There was problem because she doesnt drive and her I.D. is given out by the state, so that took awhile.... That store didnt have the right pet supplies, so we had to go to Freds. Got the dog collar there, the lil dog prob. doesnt weigh 6 lbs. so it was way too big. Decided to just give up on getting her groceries, we were both worn out; went on home and it took us BOTH 30 minutes to get the collar on the dog and make it fit by punching new holes. She would not agree to an adjustable one, only wanted buckle kind (Sigh). Then had to find flea spray for dog/furniture. Traffic was horrendous cause its tax-free weekend for back to school! I dont usually rant on here, but i was just glad to get back to my lil house and my lil dog and relax! My back was hurting and my skin cancers were dry and cracking. Plus, i couldnt get in touch w/my daughter or son in law, and that always makes me worry...I know theyre busy but STILL, a mama always worries. So, even though its just small aggravations, i had my share today! Rant over. Goodnite.
