Today was another exciting day in the neighborhood. It seems an escapee from one of the local jails stole a state truck and drove it around the neighborhood at 5 am this morning. So the vehicle was tracked electronically to my backyard. Even though you cant get to my backyard without going through my driveway, which was blocked with our cars, or around the house which would awakened all of us or of course through the lot the horses are in. So of course there was no state truck in our back yard. But I do appreciate the 7 police cars and the occupants of same. They were all as nice as they can be and just doing their job. I did have to save them from Methkitty, at one time. The cat is still a nuisance, but does fit in.
